We specialise in helping customers recover their data after their computer has died. We have helped many customers who for one reason or another have been left with only their data files after suffering a hard disk crash or computer failure. Often the datafile is intact but the software installation disks have gone missing and the program is no longer available or won't run on a replacement computer running windows 7.

My History has a range of old windows 98 and windows XP computers with long forgotten family tree software from around the world and to date we have not come across a file that we haven't been able to open. We can still read the old 3.5 inch floppy disks. One note of caution though; if your data file is corrupted then it is unlikely that any program or technician will be able to do anything with it.
